Our Teachers

Meet the MTC Teaching Staff!

Our teachers come from all backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing the joy of music with children and families in Chattanooga!

All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Brooke Safford is thrilled to be a part of the Music Together community! She is passionate about music and early childhood development. Music is now and always has been a huge part of her life. Her love for music began at a very young age. She began piano lessons at age 7, and was fortunate to have a family that nurtured and encouraged her love for music and musical growth. She continued to study music in college, and has had the privilege of teaching private piano lessons for the past eight years. Brooke attended the Music Together Teacher Training in June of 2014, and started Music Together Chattanooga in January of 2015. She is excited to watch the children develop musically in each different stage of life and is thankful to have the opportunity to work with young children through Music Together. Brooke knows the families who attend this program will have a fun, musically rich experience. She cannot wait to meet you and your family!
